Inspired By A True Story- After being a part of the Stonewall Riots in 1969, Trans- activists Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P Johnson joined the Gay Liberation Front. Feeling ostracized within the GLF they founded S.T.A.R.(Street-Transvestite-Action-Revolutionaries). S.T.A.R. House becomes the first LGBTQIAP+ youth shelter in the world and the first Trans-women of color-led organization. Sylvia and Marsha's struggles and passion to help others became the spark for an entire movement that continues to this day around the world.
