Les Cigales

In the height of a late 90s summer, a desperate British Mother and her two emotionally incapable adolescent children languish in the isolation and heat of the remote French countryside. Caught in a web of boredom and blame, the arrival of an unexpected and beguiling houseguest awakens the suppressed desires of more than one member of the family and threatens to unpick the final threads that hold them together.
