Norma, a mischievous six year old, uses the family's camcorder to spy on her protective yet cruel mother in Lima of 1997, developing so a cornered narrative that only a third spectator of the Hi8 tape will be able to amend afterwards, transforming its denouement into one of freedom instead of punishment.
