Blood Light (2020)

Through the dystopian/sci-fi genre the film reflects and emotes about the escalating global crisis, ecological climate collapse, over-exploitation of resources, the upcoming total war for global resource control (something we can see today in the Arctic circle), and the resulting decay of the planet and its inhabitants. The story is set in this dark aftermath world where humans have lost all access to sunlight. Yet even in this god-forsaken reality there is space for dignity and hope. Balancing on the edge of madness and hope, Zen, a young scavenger girl goes against the world to save her only reason to live, her own mother.
