Violent Summer (1976)

Set in the near future, an extreme government, the New British Party, has taken control of the United Kingdom. The relationship between a young designer and his girl-friend is destroyed in their attempts to avoid the Party. The young couple (Bruce Robinson and Deborah Norton) take to the woods as pressure to toe the party line builds up. The man breaks, but the girl is made of sterner stuff.
