What is happening in a Parisian apartment during a pandemic. What is happening in a small, private and generally comfortable environment while the entire world is locked down. It seems a crime took place. Apparently something happened to a neighbor but there is no evidence of it. Maybe there is no story to tell. Maybe it's just an empty parenthesis of time going by so slowly that you can imagine any plot. There is no actual character, the film has essentially visual as its basic structure and whatever the truth is, the spectator watches and deciphers what he sees without being able to intervene. Also, between Death and Void, do we really have to state the difference.
