An ethnographic documentary on the Totos, one of the smallest primitive tribes of India having a population of 1500 odd. They stay in an isolated village called Totopara near Indo-Bhutanese border of West Bengal. Being an animist tribe, Toto way of living is fundamentally based on nature; however, they do not oppose modernity as well. Continuous influx of migrant Nepalese has eaten into their land. The recent trend of conversion to Christianity has brought in much discontent in the Toto society. The time is critical as Totos are fast losing their land, culture, language and hence, the tribal identity.
