Wilderlove

Wilderlove is an impressionistic, experimental short film. Insignificant moments play out like fractured memory, as a young woman on a train contemplates her childhood. She sees herself as a girl in flashbacks, and the warmth between her and her mother. Through voice over, she questions how and why mistrust and tension entered the relationship. Through self-exploration, and repainting memory, the woman comes to revelations about her own life. Wilderlove plays out in abstract montages and small moments that linger, giving audiences space to explore the emotions of their own childhoods, and the healing potential of nostalgia.
