Equality of Choice (2019)

In the wake of recent legislation that aims to restrict women's access to abortion, we are focusing on individual stories of women who have undergone abortions themselves. We interviewed four women from different parts of the United States who told us about the complexities -- on both a personal and legal level-- involved in their decision to have an abortion. Furthermore, we explored the connection between a woman's right to choose and equality between the sexes. In creating this video piece, we hope to gain empathy and understanding on a more personal level that can also be applied more broadly within the pro-choice debate.
