One Way Up

One evening in the early 1980s, Billy and Emily, two bright-eyed lovers, discover the unsettling reality that life can change in an instant. One minute they are laughing about the latest movie they just watched and the next - a tragic moment forces Emily to watch Billy's life fade before her very eyes. But all is not as it seems, as Billy quickly discovers it wasn't exactly his time. He hasn't earned a spot in Heaven and he doesn't deserve to go to the other place, so instead he must return to Earth as a guardian angel and complete a very important assignment in order to achieve heavenly peace. Unfortunately for Billy, he doesn't know what the assignment is or how to complete it, but he needs to figure it out soon because if he doesn't his chance at a heavenly afterlife will be all but gone.
