Finding Cedar (2021)

A young man living in a remote part of Canada overcomes drug addiction and abuse to become his true self. Born in a conservative Christian household, a young protagonist named Cedar faces domestic abuse and falls into the spirals of drug addiction. He finds redemption through Buddhism and a chance encounter that leads him to meet his soulmate. As time unfolds, he realizes he was born in the wrong body, and was meant to be a man named Cedar. Finding Cedar is the second episode of I am the T, a documentary series about transgender stories around the world. Produced by TransWave Films, a New York City based production company specializing in transgender films.
