Underbrush (2019)

Erin is excited to be dropped off by her friend, Annie, to visit an old acquaintance, Carly, at her beautiful Southern mansion. It becomes apparent that Carly is jealous of Erin's success at writing, a career she shares and struggles with. Carly continually tries to assert control over Erin's life decisions, and ultimately threatens Erin when she tries to call Annie, causing her to flee into the swamps.
