Hatsujô monogatari: Osananajimi wa Yari-mori (2019)

Teruo is having trouble finding work and, at the suggestion of his girlfriend, he starts a "self-hire" business. It was well received, and he was living a full life on his own terms. Then he receives a call from his mother, Takako, who lives at home in Aomori, asking him to help his father, Masakatsu, with farm work due to a back injury. He was hopeful that something good might happen in his hometown, and was looking forward to returning home for the first time in a long time. Teruo passes by the lake-shore and is reunited with his childhood friend Michio. Michio was Teruo's friend when Teruo worked at a Tokyo film company, but lost touch with him when he became too busy and realized he had taken a 180-degree turn toward Aomori. Compared to the outspoken Teruo, Michio seemed somewhat apathetic. He was currently helping his father, Yoshiharu, a city councilman, make a public relations film to invite people to move to the area. Teruo went to his parents' house, asking them to call him if they were short-staffed and to rent. Teruo was then rented by Yoshiharu and started looking for cast members for the PR film while walking down the street. He even meets a unique local idol, Hikaru. Meanwhile, Teruo meets Masami, whom he admired since he was a child. Masami works for Yoshiharu as her subordinate in a government office. The two catch up and stop at a famous local place.
