On June 27, 1993, there was a momentous police operation at the train station in Bad Kleinen (MVP). When GSG9 officers tried to arrest RAF members Birgit Hogefeld and Wolfgang Grams, shots were suddenly fired. The access ends in disaster: the young GSG9 officers Michael Newrzella and Wolfgang Grams die. However, the author not only examines the mistakes in the GSG9 deployment tactics, but also the unflattering role played by the media ("Der Spiegel", "Monitor"). By spreading the rumor that Grams had been executed by the police, they had significantly increased the pressure on the BKA and politicians.
