This Is Your Laugh (2020)

This feature documentary follows filmmaker Chris Hollstein who asks the question, "Can anyone become a stand-up comedian?" Watch as he pursues his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian while battling stage fright, anxiety, and self-loathing while also being a husband and father. Over the course of his first year Chris performs in booked shows, comedy competitions, and roast battles and also interviews several new comedian friends such as Helen Hong, Irene Tu, Pam Benjamin, and Warhol Kaufman.
