In Light of the Teacher

Cale Holland's debut screenplay follows seventeen-year-old Max, a sensitive yet violate teen who awakes on the streets of Los Angeles to find that he has been robbed blind and beaten, with no home to return to. Reeling, one objective is painfully clear to him, if nigh impossible: find his mother. With only a vague, handwritten note and hazy memories to go on, Max attempts desperately to claw his way back to her, confronting the ills and delusions of his own mind and the trials on the fringe in LA's underbelly.
