The Pack (2022)

It is a film about inmates that get a task to train truculent dogs to secure them a better life and avoid sending back to a shelter. They live in the world where showing emotions is a sign of weakens but it is an only chance to communicate with animals. Capt. Tomek (who is passionate about dogs) knows that and that why he introduced this program into the jail he work in. He struggles to juggle between his family, his everyday task in prison (fighting against drugs) and this project. He sees results. After the program one of the inmates is changing both physically and mentally - repaired his relationship and even get engaged, start working in library, practice yoga. Unfortunately the ward kill the program and Capt. Tomek decided to retire. He open small pet shop and spends more time with his family.
