Beth Carvalho - Canta o Samba da Bahia (2008)

"Beth Carvalho sings the Samba d Bahia", with a repertoire of samba composers from Bahia from different generations. The DVD was recorded by Conspiração Filmes in August 2006 at the Castro Alves Theater in Salvador. Among the guests were Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethania, Caetano Veloso, Margareth Menezes, Carlinhos Brown, Daniela Mercury, Ivete Sangalo, Olodum, Riachão, Danilo Caymmi, among others. The DVD also features a historical documentary about the samba DE rode of Bahia.
