Shakespeare's Rose Theatre (2019)

The Rose is a fun, high-energy, entertaining look at a never-before-seen attempt to build not one but two copies of Shakespeare's Rose Theatre and then perform four of Shakespeare's most engaging plays in each theatre with two teams of very talented and colourful actors, musicians, designers, and directors. This series/documentary follows the ups and downs of the journey that brings these two theatres to life. We will witness the whole team as they work to put this gigantic project together, following them closely, observing their work and effort, frustrations, elations, and final achievement or disaster.
