From early childhood, a young girl believes the haunting tales her father tells her of menacing figures that are after him and her family. Upon realising that he is tormented by bipolar disorder, she is confronted with the fear that she may inherit this mental illness. If the shadows chase her father, will they follow her too? Founded in layers of scientific research regarding the correlation between genetics and psychology, this film seeks to offer a new perspective on the heredity of mental illness.
