Erik's War (2019)

In the occupied Denmark, Erik lives with his father Jens and his dog Pelle on a secluded farm. Here they try to maintain a normal life and keep low profile from the Germans in the area. One day Pelle runs away from Erik down to a German checkpoint. Since Erik do not dare to approach the German soldiers, they take Pelle with them. Erik asks his father for help to get their dog back, but refuses to do anything since he thinks it is too dangerous. Erik therefore chooses to bring back Pelle without the help of his father, which has fatal consequences.
