A long conversation with Eduardo Coutinho serves as a pretext to revisit some of the scenes from many of his essential films, allowing us to review these images under the light of the everlasting thought of him who is undoubtedly one of the greatest artists ever known in Brazilian cinema. That being said, 'A Treat of Coutinho' is not a film of the past: it is, first and foremost, a film that questions our present and invites us to reflect upon the future not only of a Brazilian art form, but of a country where ethics seems like a strange dimension.
