Early in the Morning

1939. A young woman returns to the Pacific Northwest after volunteering as a nurse in the Spanish Civil War. Disheartened by the devastating loss to Franco's Nationalist Forces, she contemplates her next steps. While the Headlines blare about new test planes from the Boeing company, possible Nazi Bund activity in Seattle and "The Red Scare" at WWU, she joins a group of strangers aboard a chartered boat to take them to a destination Wedding. They never arrived. Marooned on a small island with only a ramshackle light house to its name, the small band of travelers quickly find out they have been targeted and are being hunted by an unseen enemy. As they try to determine what common ground they share, they realize that one of them may be the architect behind their predicament. When you know no one, who do you trust?
