Eu Geniu Cioclea (2020)

He was born in the family of some country teachers. Having grace and knowing a lucky man went to the mathematics faculty of Moscow's "Lomonosov" University. He always knew mathematics went hand in hand with poetry, and soon he became an appreciated author from the Moscow undergraduate. By marrying the daughter of a senior secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, he gets to play chess with Brezhnev, but this only serves him ironically to treat the empire's rulers. When the USSR collapses, it returns to Chisinau, where it tries to engage in the press, but its bohemian style does not support the guild's registration. He remains a free creator with profound philosophical readings and long escapades. It publishes about a volume in 10 years. He is the author of the most expensive book of poetry in Romanian space, but he dies lonely, starved in his own unheated house and is found by his colleagues only after a few days. It is often compared to the writer Mircea Dinescu, and Claudiu Komartin said that without Eugen Cioclea Romanian poetry would be like a piano with some missing keys.
