In this black comedy, college freshman Madison Lieberman arrives at Franklin University, where she emerges from her overbearing mother's shadow to do what normal girls do - rush a sorority - or so she thinks. "It's Going Great, Mom!" follows the extent to which Madison's metamorphosis drives her to protect this community, explores to what extent justice can be served for those who have been wronged by the system, and attempts to answer the age-old question: "Is blood thicker than water?" As things quickly escalate, Madison finds herself in a conflict that hurls her into the world of drugs, social scandal, and an evasion of the law.
