Tibetische Patenschaften in Indien (2022)

Christa Marie Buergi from Bern arranged sponsors for more than 50 Tibetan and 20 Indian children from poor backgrounds for about 50 years, who were thus able to receive an education and vocational training. She moved at a young age to Pondicherry to Southern India from Switzerland to an Ashram and got aware about the problems poorer Indian and Tibetan Families had in the area. Two young Tibetan women visited her in June 2004, for whom she had organized sponsors in the past. 17 years later the Filmmaker visits the old lady in December 2021 again to recall the past and what did happen since.
