Seven individuals ruminate on the costs and benefits of cancel culture. Among them are a woman who was canceled within the online knitting community, a male artist fearful of being viewed as lecherous, and a woman questioning who has the right to use which words. With a script formed from verbatim interviews with various individuals, social weaponry examines the reactions we have to people during controversy, the consequences for which we hold them accountable, and whether cancel culture is truly the way forward to a more equitable, peaceful, just society.
