Julio is a middle-aged man living an apparently normative life with no surprises. But he deals with anxiety crisis and constant nightmares, fighting his ghosts stocked in loneliness and boredom. One day something unexpected happens and changes his life. He falls in love with Carla, this call girl's best friend. But the romance will be threatened by an increase in his panic attack episodes, brought up by the insecurities the unknown woke in Julio. From then on, he will have to choose between drowning in past traumas and social conventions or opening up to the possibility of trying his chances at love.
