Curlew (2021)

Curlew is a fictional story of a man, Donald, who was involved in the massacre of many Australian indigenous people at Gai-i (Mt Wheeler), Central Queensland in 1864. Donald believes that the bush stone-curlews living near his home are the spirits of the people he helped massacre and are coming back to take him. Meanwhile, his son, Michael, is oblivious to his father's issues and carries on his life as normal.
