According to Urban Dictionary, Drag: to dress in clothing of the opposite sex for the sake of entertainment. But drag has evolved throughout the years and it's more of an artistic expression that plays with the ideas of gender roles. There's so many varying ideas out there about what drag is and what gender is and it's important to educate others. When the term drag queen comes up, names such as Ru Paul, Divine, and Trixie Mattel and just some of the most well known ladies in modern entertainment. But in this documentary Director Alberto Ornelas of The Bomb TV teams up with Megan Lopez AKA Shebe Fierce to set the stage and house lights on some of the Rio Grande Valley's queen baddies. The Queens of Drag gives the uninitiated an inside look at the world of Drag. It's not just dress-up, these ladies aim to entertain, play, and SLAY. Follow us as we interview several amazing queens such as Katelynn York, Aeon Mavis York, Kitana Paris York, Geneva Karr, Whorechata, Edra Valencia, Anghel, Savannah Gyl and Kya Paris leading up to showtime.
