The Lost City Zarahemla - Expedition 1: The Crossing (2021)

The Heartland Research Group, led by Dr. John Lefgren and Wayne May devote their time, talents and resources to the discovery of ancient American antiquities. They are convinced the civilizations of North America have been largely dismissed and discounted. They have reason to believe a large, ancient city once graced the shores of the Mississippi River near Montrose, Iowa. This great city was a central location in The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. In this first expedition, they are attempting to locate an ancient crossing area of the Mississippi River using advanced sonar technology. In addition, the team discovers an ancient medicinal plant, commonly known as Spotted Bee Balm. This important plant grows abundantly wherever Hopewell civilizations are found. By the end of the expedition, the team locates what they were hoping to find...shallow areas which would have been possible to cross the river around the time of Christ.
