Unconditional love is found in parents' attitude towards their children irrespective of a child's actions and decisions. Acceptance becomes more difficult in the face of religious gaps, not least in the countryside. Sometimes, however, external conflicts only mask an inability to display vulnerability, and intimacy. Anja and her mother are trying to overcome their conflicts through their pet animal; life, however, takes its own independent course.
