Motor City Music Years (1992)

Motor City Music Years is a three part music documentary that charts the success of pop music from the city of Birmingham over three decades, the '60's, '70's and '80's. Music genres associated with this region of the UK - such as beat groups, heavy metal, ska and reggae - are presented via interviews with musicians and guests, inter cut with a social and cultural commentary by music broadcaster, Chris Phipps.
