Muribeca (2020)

Faced with the imminent transformation of their homes into a true ghost town, residents of the Muribeca Housing Complex express the physical death of a community still alive in memory and feelings. The disappearance of the neighborhood (in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Pernambuco), due to structural problems, real estate speculation and a long and murky imbroglio between residents and agencies responsible for the work, is witnessed from resilience and resistance, from affective landscapes and memories , who sometimes seek shelter in nostalgia, sometimes rekindle the resolute flame of hope.
