Poppy (2022)

An emotional story about a little girl ( Poppy) who grew up never knowing her father. Her father died in a war before she was born. She has never seen a picture of him only a mental image from talks with her mother. She sees him for the first time while visiting the war memorial where she instantly recognizes him and runs to him ( or does she). Poppy delivers a powerful message from her father to her mother , a message that only the mother would understand. Sometimes we forget the impact death of a loved one can have on children growing up without a parent. Poppy is more than a message to families, its about the trauma young children may go through in silence.
