-Fresco on working-class and student youth, urban and rural. The Lemires own a small grocery store in a popular neighborhood of Montreal (in Canada). Their children fraternize with the youths of working class families, their country cousins, college students, and the sons of a Westmount middle-class man. The Lemires bridge the social classes.
