-"Les Couche-tôt" is a talk-show type youth television program broadcast between September 18, 1996 and September 5, 1999 on Télévision de Radio-Canada. It is hosted by Marie-Pier Morand and Maxime Desbiens-Tremblay and directed by Stéphane Laporte. This program is partly modelled on the program broadcast from 1960 to 1970, "Les Couche-tard", hosted by Jacques Normand and Roger Baulu. Unlike Les Couche-tard, this program is hosted by children for children. In addition, the musicians of the Couche-tôt Big-band, who play the theme of the show and accompany the singers who come to the show, are also young people. After "Les Couche-tôt", there was "Les Couche-tôt en vacances", the same talk-show concept, but filmed at a summer camp during the summer of 1998 and 1999. This show serves as a springboard for Garou, who, before receiving his first big contracts, sings and plays guitar around the campfire to conclude each episode. The two hosts mainly receive personalities from the world of comedy, television and music. Since the program is broadcast before bedtime, it always ends with Marie-Pier Morand going to bed. She is told a story by one of the guests. However, as she falls asleep, Marie-Pier dreams of Maxime Desbiens-Tremblay. He always tells her that he is in love and that he wants to kiss her. Then, Marie-Pier wakes up screaming.
