Pavitra Bhandana (2013)

The story of this serial revolves around Pavitra, a young woman who is forced to marry an elderly person twice her age. Set in a village backdrop, this story traces the journey of Pavitra and her assignation with destiny. Dharmaraj is the master of the village where Pavita lives. Pavitra lives along with her elder sister, her younger sister and her grandfather. Pavitra's grandfather works along with Dharmaraj. He and Dharmaraj fix Pavitra's marriage with a person. But Dharmaraj's enemies, on the day of marriage , spoils the marriage. Dharmaraj marries Pavitra to calm the villagers who protest against him. Dharmaraj, who has 4 children, is twice her age. He has a sister who is very rude. The story of this serial continues on Pavitra's destiny who enters Dharmaraj's house. And how she is completely ignored by her husband and harassed by Dhrmaraj's sister forms the rest of the story.
