This series is very violent. Lots of blood and gore shown from episode to episode depending on the type of monster the Winchesters are hunting.
It is nearly impossible to see an episode without a death in it and the violence gets more intense as the show goes on. Decapitated bodies with their heads lying next to them and lots of stabbing and shooting, but most of it is against monsters.
Human as well as non-human monsters are shown dying throughout the series.
In the shows 9th season, a character is shown excessively stabbing somebody. Blood is seen on the knife and his hands, when the camera pans out the victim is seen bleeding out. Pretty graphic.
