Life from Here

Four brothers from Sicily immigrate to the United States during the Great Depression and struggle to find their place; they are compelled to prove their loyalty to America by enlisting in the US Military to fight on their adopted country's behalf during World War II, including against their own motherland; the epic family saga also follows the brothers' efforts to assimilate into the culture, even at the expense of their own ethnic identity, and desperately attempt to achieve some semblance of the American Dream.
