A dark street corner. An empty desert highway. The back entrance of a hotel. Their points of departure are different, but the lonely travelers found there are always waiting for a ride. Some fear it won't come, some fear what may happen when it does, others have forgotten what they're waiting for at all. Inevitably, a car arrives and the travelers are greeted by MAURICE, the driver.
