A scene where a man's teeth are being filed down, we hear a man screaming in agony for thirty seconds. Other characters crack jokes during the scene.
A man is shot, and a chunk of his head comes off and spurts out blood. We see some of his brain and cracked pieces of skull. This is the most graphic scene in S1, but it also largely portrayed as comical.
A man breaks into another man's house and chokes a man to death.

A woman stabs her hand with a knife. However it's done for comic effect and there's no blood shown.
A burglar fights a violent little girl who behaves like an animal, the girl stabs the burglar in the back twice, as he takes off his shirt a large spot of blood starts to form, this makes him unconscious for a long time. We later see the large wound on his shoulder blade, as a man stitches it up they come undone and blood pours out. She is also seen bitting off a chunk of a man's cheek. The man screams in pain and the girl has blood all over shirt and mouth.
An enraged man goes on a violent killing spree and murders at least twenty gangsters by shooting them in the head. Lots of blood spurts and splatters onto walls and pools beneath their corpses. Very bloody and disturbing.
The violence is not graphic to the extent of other HBO shows and is very infrequent.
A pen in the disguise of a weapon explodes in a man's hand causing gore to splatter everywhere. We see lots of blood gush out of the stumps on his fingers.
We see two clips on YouTube of kids getting injured in baseball. In the first, a girl is shown breaking her neck after running into a fence. In the second, a boy is supposedly killed by a line drive ball to the face, which we see. No blood is shown, but could be hard to watch.
