"Whistle Stop" was a hosted children's show on WBT, Channel 3 (Charlotte, North Carolina, USA between 1972 til 1975. A typical Whistle Stop show was an introduction of the week's topic, such as "Being a helper. , then go into a pre-taped character for two and a half minutes and then come back to the topic. Then another character or puppet sketch and back to the topic.
