LATE BLOOMER follows the life of Jasmeet, millennial by-product of the immigrant dream, chasing his own unconventional dreams. First generation Indo-Canadian, he tries to find balance between Eastern customs of family and community, and a Western ideal of individualism. Caught at the crossroads of both, Jasmeet starts vlogging to express himself. Surprisingly, the vlog becomes a hit, resonating with first-gen youth. Jasmeet navigates his life of newly found internet fame, dating, spirituality, culture, and a dysfunctional (yet loving) family. Jasmeet's journey, is finding understanding and acceptance, in worlds that don't think he belongs. He's a turban wearing Sikh, living in a divided yet hopeful world, trying to make sense of it all.
