When Life Gives You Lemons (2010)

When Life Gives You Lemons is the newest production from the uninhibited imaginations of the LuddaFilms team. Chronicling the intertwining adventures of five colorful individuals through London's sprawling metropolis, we become privy to their hopes and dreams, and the particulars of a generation caught between the past and the future. Through the eyes of the show's protagonists London is exposed like never before; unblemished and radiant, a city of perpetual beauty entrenched in it's own style and flare. Utilizing the city as a striking canvas, the series aims to provoke contemplation of today's social normality's, and what we as a collective culture are quickly moving towards. Possibly best understood by Luis Ventura (Director/Co-Creator) he asserts that; "More than anything, this production is about the characters, not the big screen spectacle. There's a lot of material to cover when we look at the twenty-somethings in a city as diverse as London; so we had a lot of fun breaking down our generational culture and then reconstructing it within our own narrative universe." Ludwik Benning (Co-Creator/Co-Writer) concludes that "it is not only the philosophical elements and quest of the new millennium reason d'ere, but the addition of humor that will make the show both accessible and entertaining for a wide audience."
