Naija Wives of Toronto (NWOT) (2020)

It is a first of its kind Canadian reality show that follows the lives of five Nigerian women as they navigate their home away from home. Throughout the series, the women face cultural barriers that come with raising a family in a different country, however, they still manage to remain true to their heritage. From the extravagant parties, to the diversity of food, the NWT series provides viewers a glimpse into the Nigerian culture and all the beauty it has to offer. The most important part of this series is that it allows Nigerian - Canadians to feel heard and represented.
