Rocket Men

This series (based on the book Rocket Men by Robert Kurson) follows the real-life story of the development and journey of the Apollo 8 mission sending the first humans to the Moon (and pulling ahead in the space race with the USSR). The book profiles astronauts Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders and is based on hours of interviews and thousands of pages of NASA transcripts.
