The series is located in a world where, somehow, 98% of all males have gone missing, to everyone's surprise. As women everywhere try to adapt to what they perceive as the beginning of a female-only society, a huge amount of women from many occupations - scientists, activists, politicians, religious, members of apocalyptic sects, and even common women - set out to investigate and explain what led to this strange phenomenon and what its consequences will be.
