2021 marks the 40th anniversary since the first cases of AIDS were reported. Substantial progress has been made since 1981 on the research front, and people with HIV can now enjoy a "normal" life. But what hasn't yet changed is the stigma and the discrimination that HIV-positive people keep experiencing. The fear of being rejected by their families, friends, colleagues and employers still makes many HIV+ people hide their condition. "Stigma invisibile" gives a voice to the voiceless, hoping that soon enough no HIV-positive people will ever feel the need to hide themselves.
