A Docu-Drama 45 minutes film is about forbidden love between a girl named Grace and her lover "Totoy" from a tribe name "Aeta" are scattered in central "Luzon". They started their migration about 75000 years ago from Africa and arrived in the Philippines over 20000 years ago during the "Ice Age" when a sea bridge happened between Indonesia and the Philippines and for thousands of years, they populated the land and enjoyed the virgin and rich beauty of the discovered land. 2000 years ago after new settlers came in from Malaysia and other continents, the Aeta people had no choice to move to the higher land and deep in the jungle to protect their heritage and they kept their distance during the Spanish occupation till the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo. The eruption largely affected the way of their ancient life. Once mother nature helps them to migrate to the mainland by creating bridges but the same mother nature "eruption of the Mt. Pinatubo" in 1991 changed their way of life again. "Serenity" will show where the rest of the tribe is now in the mountain and what left of their culture including their rituals for weddings, hunting, giving birth, and how they barter trade their products in the market. The film also shows how some of them choose to live in the cities and how the city impacted their life.
